Brief
- The activated clay desiccant is made from attapulgite and montmorillonite by means of an activating treatment. At high temperatures, this active mineral desiccant has a superior moisture absorption capacity than montmorillonite.

This moisture desiccant is used to seal and keep products dry that cannot be vacuum or oil sealed, such as optical instruments, electronic products, healthcare products, and military and civilian products. Since it contains chloride ion, the activated clay desiccant cannot be in direct contact with food, drugs, or metals.

Compare with silica gel desiccant, its ability of absorption of moisture is most powerful, especially in lower temper environment, and non-deformable, non-deliquescent in saturate state.
